Columbia Depot Shell Jacket
Jacket comes in Type One, Type Two, or Type Three. All types have six-piece bodies. Gray jeans-like wool with 100% cotton muslin lining. There is an option for "osnburg" lining. Standard issue buttons or wooden buttons are provided. All buttonholes hand- done. There is also some actual hand stitching in the lining.

Type One: Jacket includes two inside pockets on the left and right. It has a rounded six- button front with a small point in the middle back. Jacket is one piece with full sleeves.

Type Two: Jacket comes with one exterior pocket on the right side. It has two interior pockets that are dropped. Includes a rounded six-button front.

Type Three: Jacket has a seven-button, squared front with an exterior breast pocket on the right side. There is no back point. Coat measures about one inch shorter than Type One.

Richmond Depot Shell Jacket (Early to Middle War)
The jacket is 100% Richmond gray wool with 100% cotton muslin lining. Standard issue buttons are provided. Every buttonhole is hand-done. There is some actual hand stitching on the inside. The Jacket comes in Type One, Type Two, and Type Three. All three versions have six-piece bodies and two piece sleeves. The Jackets have a nine button front. The bottom of the jacket has square-cut corners. It also includes an inside left breast pocket.

Type One (Early War): Jacket has squared off collar and black piping. Top and bottom of collar comes in choice of yellow, red, or dark blue. Includes an inverted "V" on the cuffs. Shoulder straps, trim, and belt loops are all provided.
Type Two (Middle to Late War): This jacket has no trim colors. Collar has rounded corners. Shoulder straps and belt loops are both provided.
Type Three (Middle to Late War): This jacket has no trim, shoulder straps, or belt loops just as the original was without. The collar has rounded corners.

Tait Shell Jacket (Irish Import/ Late War)
This jacket was an Irish import that was used late in The War. Jacket comes in dark gray with 100% wool and unbleached muslin lining. This jacket is similar to the Richmond Depot Jacket, but the Tait Shell Jacket has a five-piece body and two-piece sleeves. It comes with an eight-button front. Standard issue buttons are provided. The collar has squared front. Shoulder straps are also standard. The jacket is documented after the original.
